Hi, can you post some book recommendations? I’m getting deep into postmodernism recently and I need more recs :). I can basically smell the CCRU/Lasch/Baudrillard/Debord on all your writing- would love to hear more about what kinds of books inspire you to think this way. Thanks!
honest to god I havent read "theory" in years. biggest influence in university was wittgenstein by a huge margin, then german idealism (various) and nietzche. read freud when I was a teenager. I can't really track the development myself, I don't think about it like "then I'll use this theory/concept from here", I just shoot from the hip and dont think too much about it. I'll try to put together a recommended reading blogpost
all of those are sick and great :D would loooove that blogpost. If you or any of your readers might want to start a theory reading group over zoom (idk if you’d be down to post about it?) I’d be really into doing/leading that for a variety of book options that people could decide on….
You are one prolific motherfucker my boy. What's this like ~160 [fairly dense on average] essays in three years? Christ in heaven. And I know you're not getting paid right, yet. That's a real writer. A true slave to the muse.
