Thanks to the tireless efforts of my old twitter friends, my long schizopost from yesterday has gotten as many “views” as my average tweet. I think that’s interesting. I think “followers”/“subscribers” are for the most part a fake metric. I think it’s a parameter the system wants you to care about, but I don’t think the system cares about it. I think it wants you to care about it, BECAUSE it doesn’t care about it - because it is a variable it controls. I think it’s misdirection. Is this cope? Am I a cope? If you love someone let them go. If you follow someone let them get ban. The real followers were immaterial all along; the relation was never electronic.
I can’t rightly tell who’s doing the heavy lifting but thank you for putting me and keeping me in touch with people. I’m going to fix some outstanding money issues and then go lie in the sun for a while. The weather’s wonderful.
I deliberately don't want to make any promises regarding timeframe on this stuff, but I think it can be safely assumed that since I no longer have any other outlet, it might even be daily writing. I think mass producing content is better than editing it. The time for editing ended in 1450
