Chinatown World Order
It's also kind of funny that the movie is named "china"-town but I don't get into that
It’s all just Chinatown. Thought struck me at work and I had to look up the plot to check if I was remembering it right. Here’s the plot of the famous movie Chinatown:
To force through a land deal, the bad guys (call them what you will: old money, mobsters, black nobility) artificially lowers the value and price of a piece of land, by manipulating irrigation, and try to cover their tracks through intimidation, manipulation and violence. And one of them is fucking his own daughter.
It’s in a very blunt and obvious way the Dutch/EU nitrogen psyop, which has been diligently and extensively covered elsewhere. But in a more subtle way its happening everywhere.
In Chinatown, they fake an ecological disaster, and further control the water supply of an area to turn the land worthless, forcing the owners to sell, “drying up the land so it can be bought cheaply”, and covering their tracks with murder and intimidation.
We have to reduce nitrogen use in farming to avoid the ecological disaster of losely defined climate change that is always just around the corner, causing lower yields, causing farmers to not be able to make ends meet, forcing them to sell their land to the government at a “good price", who then sells it to Blackrock for pennies, of which the honourable political representatives get a small cut, laundered through speaking fees and philanthropy foundations.
Forget it Jake. It’s disinformation.
Yesterday at work, I saw on one of the TV's running 24/7 in the entrance, running a national news channel, in big red letters and a trustworthy face and a hypnotic voice, a kind old man explain to me that because of Putin, we have to use less “energy”. We all have to make small sacrifices because gas and oil is 30% more expensive now.
Not a single person I know is going to do that. What they are going to do is use the exact same amount of electricity and gas as before, but pay more for it. And the story is not meant to be taken literally. It is meant to function as a psychological cushion, excusing it. Making them feel ashamed, so they don’t revolt and flip cars over. The point is just to squeeze more money out of the Middle class but propagandising them into not reacting to being nudged into poverty. Slow cooking the frog.
You can’t make the masses accept a decline in living standards without a war. Boomers would literally rather die than not buy a second home. Young women would literally rather die than not go on sex tourism photo ops around the world. It is what it is. Its a psychological constant.
But they are certainly trying.
The real message isn’t “use less energy”. It’s “pay an energy tax, to pay for your sin of not protecting the world from global warming. Buy psychological absolution for your guilt of not saving the environment. Buy papal indulgence”. The now decades old zizek observation about “green” “environmental” branding. But applied wholesale to everything connected to a socket. All media and the Internet itself.
For what purpose? To squeeze the middle class out of every dollar they have. To prevent individuals from having a single dollar left at the end of the month. To be a smooth and fluid economical gear. To prevent you from having savings, on a micro scale, and intergenerational wealth on a larger scale. Because people with expendable wealth buy land.
In a debt based economy all taxes function like this. Formal and informal taxes, like the energy propaganda. Its a machine of dials and levers you can pull and tingle with the variables until you get it just right, and Joe average has exactly enough money to live and no more. The popular WEF “own nothing be happy” meme is just being open about this. Every time you try to get ahead, woops, new taxes. Woops, new subscription services. You don’t want to be a social outcast right? Watch game of thrones, watch euphoria, watch TV show. Dial on pussy goes down, dial on Netflix goes up. That’s the kind of taxes I’m talking about. Informal. Nudge taxes.
It all comes down to land. If you own land and can grow a couple of carrots, you are sovereign. You are a less efficient economic gear in the great machine. You are a gear that can choose not to spin, or in which direction you want to. You have simple existential choice. You are a competitor.
Used to be the king owned all the land. Then we democratized. And now someone else is Chinatowning us to buy all the land and become king. This is what it was all about. World War 1 was not the end of monarchy in Europe. It was just a very, very, very slow palace coup.
The only meaningful political action possible at this point is buying land and never selling. Voting is a pointless pseudo-ritual. Owning land is the real vote.
They are going to fail. Every time this has been attempted, they have failed. They will destroy themselves. It can’t be done, because the project is based on assumptions about human nature that are fundamentally wrong. The question isn’t how do we prevent them from winning, it’s how do we prepare for when they eventually and inevitably fail. Owning land is step one. Never selling is step two. Not wasting money on subscription services is step three.
Chinatown World Order
There's something about all of the Polanski movies I've seen that is just so gross. Like fan fiction for a particularly misanthropic kind of edge lord.
Rosemary's Baby: watch a clueless woman get raped into having the Antichrist from the victim's point of view, you can call it horror but I'm pretty sure the director intended it as porn for the elites who funded his movie.
Chinatown: watch a clueless detective get mind-fucked into uncovering how San Francisco, and by extension America, actually works. In this case, "mystery" is intended in the ancient religious sense, as a revelation. This includes Faye's character. Porn for the elites.
Ninth Gate: watch a clueless book appraiser undergo a series of misadventures that include fucking the whore of Babylon in an accidental sex magick ritual that opens the gates of Hell. In other words, more porn.
Oh, wait that's why I find these movies so gross: they're all gleefully, cynically Satanic.
Sorry, not related, but I wanted to ask you : what do you think is the cause of the boomer mentality ?
And I am not referring to the "buy a second home, go on a cruise" type of thing. I think I more or less understand both the materialist and political echo chamber they were to various degrees stuck in. What I don't get is the "temporal bubble" they managed to erect around them.
Maybe I am just reading too much into my own personal situation, but when dealing with my parents (real boomers born in the 50's) what surprises me is not so much a deny of the future manifested as greed as a deny of the past.
Maybe I am just an exception and I happen to be the one guy dealing with boomers who would rather sell their (unique) house than see their kids go hungry or something...
And maybe it's just a thing in my own country (I don't think so), but it's as if there is this spiritual spell, this perversion in the zeitgeist that disable any tangible connection to something prior to the time of the boomers.
It's as if France never really existed before 1950. Like yeah, before that was the Primordial Darkness from which Everything That Is Good And True emerged, but before WWI ? A complete mystery. It might as well be aliens. In fact it feels like you are dealing with aliens, it feels like you are dealing with "incomplete people" and you have to fill in the blank by grinding down old books Moldbug's style.
Maybe it's just that after x number of generations, the past automatically becomes muddy, idk... Maybe it's just a coincidence. Still it is strange that even the members of this generation who aren't hoarding wealth, seems almost unable to pass down to their children anything but material goods as if they had cut the "spiritual link" at birth and then grew up unable to rebuild one...
