I too learned I don't need a church nor pastor etc. to talk to God .

Spending time in the Australian alps has many times brought me to the edge of belief but no further.

I have never really recognised proof there of any gods of the Old World. Being there is a confrontation with a singular impression of eternity. Somehow it's a place both god-forsaken and heavy with divinity. Very hard to explain...

The dreams you describe seem a bit like a reckoning with your belief in the God of the Bible. I don't know if you see them so.

The intended implication of recounting the dream was that it was an urgent response to my request, as it was just me remembering what life used to feel like
