You know the expression "no man is an island"? Tota liberalism is indistinguishable from hobbesian nature, of war of all against all. Which is very convenient for the opaque powers that be, divide and conquer-wise
The very structure and framework of our interface with information technology prevents the formation of coherent political organisation. We are doomed to be individuals. You can't use the atomixation machine to create social bonds, that's not what the machine does. And when we use the machine we engage in 5th gen war, infowar. Its a single player game that just has an illusion of being a massive multiplayer game
Well written, Randy. I’ve found Jeremiah 28-29 to be comforting words in these times. The church is going into exile. We need to remain as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves.
Short story. It took me about 15 years of trying to "change" the system and open hearts and minds before I got the point you made in this short essay. Great articulation.
The last straw for me, when I realized people around me actually know it is wrong but were apathetic. People are addicted to normalcy and routine. Plus, those same people will slip back into that hive mindset five seconds after admitting they know it is all a racket. ..to cheering on their favorite team based politician and regurgitating whatever slop they got from the news. I no longer do public activism, writing ( publicly) or work with any campaigns. ( I was a libertarian in the US) Now, I focus on what I can affect, the minds of my children. I spend my time homeschooling them as well as expanding my own mental toolkit. This war is over and anonymity has significant value at this time.
Beautifully said
Can you expand on this a bit: "We’re in fifth generation warfare now, and every man is a nation"
What exactly do you mean by "every man is a nation"?

Dispite you not being totally happy with this I liked it a lot.
You ever read Curtis Yarvin? Some of what you're saying here seems similar.
I used to read his stuff but I couldn't keep going after his article about nerds which was filled with outrageously wrong metaphysics
Interesting, I'm guessing you are refering to the Circling essay. I will revist that one.
