Well said .

I wonder about death all the time, I was fascinated by it as a child and now don't fear it but am aware of it being a Motocylist who's survived two "fatal" crashes .

Ben Shapiro voice: You can't spell "Damn the torpedoes" without "Damn the pedos". You can try all you like, but that's how it's spelled.

Hi Randy. I don't know if you've written about this elsewhere but how do you begin improv on piano. I'm not looking for a life-hack sort of thing, I know it's discipline and getting over messing up but how do I branch out from mechanical sheet-reading, to "playing around" in a practical sense, do I need to sit and just try out doing little bits on chords until it clicks?

I think a good excersise would be to practise playing a sing by ear, without sheet reading at all. grab the chords from a song and try to reverse engineer the melody by trial and error a bunch of times. I think it's about learning to "think" in chords logic and getting the "these are the options I have in Cm7" logic into the hands/nervous system. Practicing scales also always good
