You give the Americans too much credit, read the economist Michael Hudson, they’re a failing state. Trump has re-directed the payment flows directly to the arms trade & Israel, to crypto-pump and dump schemes, and towards a crumbling tech industry which is desperately trying to cling onto power and resources. Water has become a very scarce resource in America and the west coast will become unliveable in the near future because of it.
Personally I have thoroughly enjoyed the Trump V2 ascension. I think Musk is an odd, untrustworthy, self-opportunistic character whose business success has been based on being in the right place at the right time and otherwise would not be as wealthy or known if Thiel and the paypal board did not remove him as CEO of paypal, as he was 100% going to complicate and possibly ruin the Good Thing they were onto with the merger. He has based his companies on the US style of 'promise the technological future in x and y commodity form, but never follow through on any of the grand claims,' as a for, of marketing and self-marketing for the companies he has purchased. Tesla was only saved through US government handouts and Space X is another neo-liberal form of expropriating state funds that formerly went into NASA into the private sphere. Simultaneously, any decent non neo-classical economist can explain why his on paper wealth is so highly inflated. He is through and through the ultimate product of the same neo-liberal globalism that people think he is fighting against in the political sphere. But the liberal capitalist (they are all liberal from the political-philosophical perspective in going back to Locke) political sphere is always determined by the oligarchs: they fund the political campaigns and fund the motives of the politicians.
Be that as it may, on one hand there is definitely and gladly a paleoconservative tendency emerging via Trump V2, with Bannon on one end and Vance on the other influencing this tendency. Musk would have no idea what paleoconservativism is as a movement. But he is, despite being a neo-liberal at heart and in all his business practices, moving wherever the flow of money is opportunistically greatest, a useful idiot at present in stirring up things like USAID, which has completely pulled the pants off this organisation for Americans to see. The rest of the world has been well aware of what USAID does for a long while, since they took over aspects of the CIA's work after the US senate passed legislation disallowing the CIA to use things like vax or health programs for cover.
This stirring up of the bureaucratic side of the deep state, while the tech oligarchs are elbowing their way into the former financialization based-wealth deep state actors (the deep state is where the Repressive State Apparatus and the Ideological State Apparatus meet, and the new manifestation of this is in the informational, technofeudalist sphere that inherently does both jobs simultaneously) is really fun and revealing to observe.
Btw, the 'Australian Trump' is an utterly thuddingly dumb, uncharismatic turd, lacking any vision or plan for the future. Tony Abbot was the last Liberal party leader with such things who also had his own brain. An interesting man.
Thanks for your post. It was a good, thought provoking read.
He's not saying Russia-Ukraine is ended: he is saying it is going to end in the obvious manner people predicted ~3 years ago.
While I can't read his mind - It's a safe bet that Randy is excited at the developments Trump is forcing, but as a Euro expat in Australia sees the continued total dominance of America as an obliterative force. If America can be renewed while Europe wanes and struggles then that goes on for a long time.
All the “Trumpanzees” (also known as deplorables, chuds, flyover Americans etc) that I know are getting exactly what we voted for, and for the first time in living memory at that.
I find using 'flyover America' as a pejorative rude and ugly .
I almost always have a great time when I'm smack in the middle of my beloved country .
"chuds" is a new one on me, those that cannot grasp why trump et. all are bad clearly show why the repblicans endless slashing of education is a bad thing .
I don't feel happy that they're about to get hosed yet again, that's the unChristian attitude of losers .
There's something you're missing in your analysis; Trump isn't actually fixing America. He's balancing the books so America can fight a major war, while trying to get white men on side. This is a far more probable motivation, until he actually starts deporting people and winding back liberalism (like gays(
What war? Why? If you look at the major elite factions backing Trump, the forever war people were not amongst them. So far all signs point in the exact opposite direction.
He's the most radically pro-israel president of the 21st century. Israel and the Jewish billionaires are the pro-war faction, and that's why he's doing insane things in the Holy Land
If he was actually just doing what Israel wants he’d be helping Netanyahu return Gaza to something resembling the pre October 7th status quo, thereby setting the region for future conflicts, not trying to actually solve the issue.
I don’t know what Ben Shapiro thinks about it, nor do I particularly care. He doesn’t run the Israeli government, and even his influence within the pro-Israel faction of the American elite is overstated.
But he is a propagandist for the Israeli faction. Everything Trump does in the middle east is pro-israel. I'll believe Trump is pro-america when remigration hits 10k a day
Europe is no better off really, but there is no way Trump and Musk are going to bring happiness and prosperity to the everyday majority of American people.
I’m not sure anyone can fully grasp the second order effects of suddenly shutting down a lot of the global left’s propaganda funding, but I suspect you’re too black-pilled when it comes to European politics. The world seems to be moving at an incredible pace right now, and the European PMC has no handler to take orders and receive money from.
I don’t live in the subcontinent, but from what I gather there seems to be a repressed (right wing?) will across the board that has been contained only through complete domination of the political and media landscape.

What is it with people and despair? We won, it's an opportunity, time to get to work
The sad fact is Speed, they're unhappy no matter what ~ even when they win they're miserable wretches .

Interesting thoughts, not quite clear : are you a trump supporter or not here ? .
I hope you begin taking the time to let your articles settle and proof read them as some of the spelling errors muddy the meanings .
Sadly, most Americans are not up to speed on what's what in Europe or Ukraine, I don't think that's finished just yet as you seem to think .

THANK YOU .
I don't see "the obvious manner" .
Randy has never lived in a dictatorship, I have and guarantee when trump gets things the way he wants, the trumpanzees are _NOT_ going to be happy .
Appeasement has never worked in the history of man , I don't get why some fail to grasp this simple thing .
Me, I'll go down fighting just like I did as a child and through most of my adult life .
The truth and facts matter .

The very _last_ thing trump will ever do is balance the books .
I'm not gay but unlike you I'm not afraid of them either =8-) .

If this was something Israel didn't want, why is Ben Shapiro practically dancing with glee at the idea of properly annexing the area?

What happens when the dam breaks?
Amen. 12 years of greatness if we focus.
