Because Denji likes Power, though in the end he doesn't like her in the way you're thinking. At least I don't think so, it's been a couple years or somethin' since I read Chainsaw Man.
in this case I work pretty much entirely the other way around. I have a single idea, that it creates a conceptual blind spot if you can only see it from the recipient's side, and that i think you can psychologize a lot of bad opinions away and dismiss them like this, and then i just try to explain that core idea. working in a circle outwards from that, to try to explain that in a precise way, and just pick up whatever funny thoughts I happen on, and a kind of structure just sort of emerges from the process. And then I try to hide and be really coy about the religious stuff
Fucking excellent! I re-read Super Intelligence by Bostrom the other day and had this same feeling, ie; that the deterministic nerds who’ve never understood that life itself is more sacred and complex that raw compute, could of course never perceive of a form of intelligence superior to their own being anything but some form of tyrannical overlord. They are just projecting their own pathetic insecurities forward.
As someone with children - yes you have absolute power over them and mistreating them would be a corruption and misuse of that power which shows not strength but weakness (couldn't deal with a CHILD, though they can be frustrating). As we have all sinned and fallen short - the fight against corruption is ongoing.
As a newborn goes older you then begin to experience the transition from raw power to Authority - which for now I will say is Power rightly wielded as I'm thinking they're two sides of the same coin.
"The transvaluation of all values that was forced on us by the industrial revolution, is not a collective “coming up from the waters, breaching the surface of a higher state”. It is more like repositioning ourselves, reorienting ourselves in the world, after losing our balance. The dizziness after being spun around really fast, like children do to themselves on the playground, or do to others to bully them"

Good idea. I think it is correct.
Also good writing. Well structured. Short and to the point.
Did you have to barf something long and then rewrite to make it short? Or was the idea just already clear to you?
I ask because I am trying to find a way to achieve the same result in my writing but am struggling.

Lovely, Mr. Egg. May you become a vessel worthy and able (which are the same!) to channel Total Power!
Power, is also liberty, as is fear, to enslavement.
> relying on eggsternal validation

Guy was short a dollar at the gas station, tried to call his mom. I spotted him the dollar. He's *my* son now.
The image of a man holding a woman has a spiritual significance, doesn't it? Somehow cosmic.
So essentially, power is only what you conceptualize it as? And I can consciously choose to treat it in a healthy way? Is that right?
